What we do
We connect premium Australian producers with premium buyers overseas, and take nothing until it works.
Southern Cross Provisions is a disclosed Australian export sales agency. We introduce Australian food producers and suppliers (honey, native bush foods and botanicals, and gourmet pantry today, with room for other high-value categories) to importers, distributors, retailers and hospitality buyers worldwide. Our deepest market work is in the Gulf and premium Asia, and Denmark for truffle, but we will work with a serious buyer anywhere the fit is right.
We act openly as a commission agent. The producer stays the seller, never a hidden middleman.
We're paid only when an order ships and is paid. Our incentive is a real, lasting trade, not a one-off.
We add no markup to any product. Buying through us costs a buyer no more than going direct.

Producing it in Australia?
If you make something in Australia worth selling overseas, you can apply to be represented rather than ringing anybody. You set your own price, you stay the seller, and we are paid only after an order ships and you have been paid.

Southern Cross Provisions is a registered business name held by Austera Global Pty Ltd, ACN 700 870 275, ABN 41 700 870 275. Both numbers are on the public registers. Search them and you'll see the company, its type and its registered office. Nothing here relies on you taking our word for it.
Brisbane-based
Operated from Brisbane, Australia, close to the producers and export pathways we work with. Our registered office is in Spring Hill.
Disclosed-agent model
We act openly as a commission agent. The producer is always the seller, never a hidden reseller in the middle.
No hidden margin
Our commission is disclosed and paid by arrangement. We don't mark up goods, so buyers pay the producer's price.
Where we actually stand
The producer stays the seller and the exporter of record, is paid directly by the buyer, and we never take title, hold stock or handle your money. We are paid a commission by the producer only after an order has shipped and been paid for. A page that listed only the favourable facts would not be worth reading, so we set the whole position out in full, including the parts that count against us.
None of that stops us being useful to you. It does mean you should judge us on the method and the terms rather than on a track record we do not have yet, and it means you carry no risk: the producer stays the seller, we add no margin, and we are paid only once an order ships and the producer has been paid.
We're just getting started, so we won't show partner logos, client names or testimonials until they're real. This space is reserved for genuine relationships as they're established. Nothing here will ever be invented.
