Honest by design. Verifiable by anyone.
The four things worth knowing first
A registered Australian company
Southern Cross Provisions is a registered business name held by Austera Global Pty Ltd, ACN 700 870 275, ABN 41 700 870 275. Both numbers are on the public registers. Search them and you'll see the company, its type and its registered office. Nothing here relies on you taking our word for it.
Brisbane-based
Operated from Brisbane, Australia, close to the producers and export pathways we work with. Our registered office is in Spring Hill.
Disclosed-agent model
We act openly as a commission agent. The producer is always the seller, never a hidden reseller in the middle.
No hidden margin
Our commission is disclosed and paid by arrangement. We don't mark up goods, so buyers pay the producer's price.
What is in this section
- the company behind Southern Cross Provisions. The entity, both registration numbers, the registered office, and the exact searches you can run to confirm all of it without contacting us.
- where we actually stand today. The whole position, item by item: how a transaction works, how we are paid, and what does not exist yet.
Why we publish the unflattering parts
Because a counterparty finds them anyway. A producer or an importer with any discipline searches the company name, looks up the ABN, checks whether there is insurance, and asks who else we have shipped for. Every one of those answers is available in about five minutes, and some of them are unflattering. A business that waits to be asked has already told you something about itself.
It has happened here. On 29 July 2026 a producer we were speaking to found an inconsistency between this site and our other one, both of which describe the same legal entity. They were right, we were wrong, and it nearly cost the relationship. The disclosure pages exist in the shape they do because of that.
How we behave, in the absence of a track record
- No fabricated social proof. No partner logos, no client names, no testimonials, no case studies and no volume figures until they are real and the other party has agreed to be named.
- No product photography passed off as ours. Every image and every clip on this site is open licence stock and does not depict our producers, products, buyers, premises or shipments.
- Categories described as categories. We do not name brands we do not represent, and we do not describe a producer as appointed before an agreement exists.
- One commission rate, published, on the terms page in the producer side of the model. A rate you have to ask three times for is a rate that changes depending on who is asking.
- Both of this company's sites carry the same entity details, and a change to any disclosure is made on both in the same sitting.
Documents and policies
We are not going to publish a governance library a business this size does not have. What exists is the privacy policy covering what this website collects and how an enquiry is handled, and the terms of use covering what is published here and the limits of it. Both are short because they are honest about a small operation rather than padded to look like a large one.
If you need something else in writing before you proceed, ask Andrew directly at [email protected]. If we do not have it, you will be told that rather than sent something adjacent.
